“I opened a boutique with little experience and wish I would have purchased more of Elly's time, because the information I did receive from her was very valuable. It saved me a lot of time in the long run, especially when it comes to purchasing inventory. She knows the best vendors to purchase from on the websites that aggregate all the brands together and the brands to avoid! I worked under her at her boutique while I attended Mizzou and she has a ton of experience. She also shared with me a formula on how to move inventory more quickly and how/when to mark things on sale to prevent dead inventory. She has a lot of knowledge with eCommerce as well if you're interested in selling online in addition to your brick and mortar. I think the most valuable information is her knowledge of which brands to purchase one (best quality, most popular...etc). She is very great with social media marketing/boutique event planning too. I highly recommend you use her to kick start your business. It will save you a lot of time and you will learn a lot. Oh, and if you go to the fashion district to visit the brands in LA, she already has it mapped out for you.
